Find capsules by goal
Say what you want help with. The finder shows what the GB register lets any seller claim for it, what the register assessed and refused, and the cheapest capsules per capsule for each ingredient. It quotes; it never advises.

Digestion and Blood and iron and Joints
1313 capsules across 52 ingredientsDigestion. The register authorises specific wording about digestion for a few nutrients, quoted exactly on their pages, and refused most of the probiotic and gut wording sellers reach for. The split below is the honest picture. Persistent digestive symptoms are a matter for a GP, and Guts UK is the specialist charity.
Blood and iron. Ingredients here hold register wording about normal red blood cell formation, oxygen transport, iron absorption or normal blood clotting, quoted exactly on their pages. Suspected iron deficiency needs a blood test before a supplement; the NHS page below explains why.
Joints. Joints carry the largest set of refused claims in the register: glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, turmeric and collagen-for-joints wording were all assessed and turned down. What is authorised is narrow and quoted exactly on the ingredient pages: vitamin C for normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage, and manganese for normal formation of connective tissue. Versus Arthritis is the specialist charity for anything beyond nutrition.
Nothing here is medical advice. The wording is the GB register's, quoted exactly; whether a product qualifies to use it is the seller's responsibility. Speak to a GP or pharmacist before taking a supplement, especially if you are pregnant, take medicines or have a diagnosed condition. Wording from the GB nutrition and health claims register; mapping reviewed 4 September 2026.
